If you are a Science Fiction Film Lover, You may love watching some of the Bollywood Superhero Movies. Though many Superhero Movies were made, only a few managed to catch the viewers interest. The Indian Superhero Films can be broadly classified into two.
a) The Hero is a normal Guy who has a twin personality who fights against the Evil.
b) The Hero gets some powers and he uses them to fight against the evil forces.
Given below are some of the Superhero Movies worth watching
1) In Azaad (1955), Dilip Kumar plays two highly diverse characters.
2) In Jugnu (1973), Dharmendra plays dual roles.
3) Mr India (1987), Anil Kapoor's character uses an invisibility watch in his Superhero Avatar.
4) Chhota Chetan (1998) is the Hindi dubbed release of the 1984 Malayalam film My Dear Kuttichathan, which was India's first 3D film. In the film, A young girl and her three friends meet a strange boy with magical powers. They join hands with him to change their lives.
5) Krrish (2006)had Hrithik Roshan playing the dual roles.
6) Krrish 3 (2013) had Hritik Roshan playing the characters of both the father and the son who have to save the world and their own family from an evil man named Kaal and his gang of mutants.
7) In the 2010 film Endhiran, Rajnikanth's character invents a super-powered robot with his own looks. It was one of India's most expensive film up to that point. The Hindi dubbed version is 'Robot'.
8) Ra.One (2011) would probably have made more money if he would have preponed or postponed the release so that it did not have to compete with Krrish 3. Ra.One being India’s most expensive film at that point, the expectations were too high. The Film did not do well as expected but manage to recover the investment.
All the above listed Films were commercially successful and worth watching. Upcoming Superhero Movies of 2016
are Tiger Shroff's 'A Flying Jatt' and Anurag Kashyap's 'Doga' based on the Indian comic book superhero series. If you are looking for more films to watch, you may check out some of the Movies listed in my Video below.
