A Top rated Bollywood Celebrity as Host is no guarantee for the Success of a Reality Show. There are many reality shows that failed to impress viewers and thereby could not gather the required TRP's despite of having top rated Bollywood Actors as Hosts who charge 1.5 Crore or more per episode. It is quite sad but Shows hosted by popular Actors like Anupam Kher, Manisha Koirala, Govinda, Madhuri Dixit, Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan could not Survive because of low TRP's. Indian TV Shows that went Off Air with in 6 months of Telecast because of Low TRPs
Many Shows have gone off air because of low TRP's. Television Rating Point is everything when it comes to deciding whether a Show will survive or not. Television Rating Point is an indicator of which Shows are viewed the most or how popular the Shows are.Some of these Serials had good content but failed to gather the required TRP ratings and was axed by the Channel. Surprisingly most of the listed Shows are targeted on Youth Viewers. However, some of these so called 'Flop TV Shows' became Hits Online. Some examples of these are Rangrasiya, Bathameez Dil, Manmarziyan and Reporters. Despite of popular Actors and good Concepts, it is shocking to see many Shows failing while 'Saas Bahu Saagas' as rocking on TV. However, TRP's are not the only reason for Shows going off air abruptly. Even Channel Polices or Channel and Production House issues can also be reason for good Shows ending. Because of Channel V and MTV revamp Youth Shows like D4, Mastaangi and Sadda Haq are going off air. As per Reports, the BigMagic Show 'Boyz' ended because of Channel and Production House conflicts. As per insider sources, the actors have not been paid still for the work done.

There are not only crime Shows and Comedy Shows in this List, but also daily Soaps. All the Shows except for DABM and Chidiya Ghar have already completed 5 Years. Let's hope that DABM and Chidiya Ghar also completes 5 Years of telecast. On the other hand there are TV Serials that are unable to survive even 6 months because of low TRP's like Everest, Dahleez, Phir Bhi Na Maane Badtameez Dil, Tamanna, and Kahani Hamari...Dil Dosti Deewanepan Ki. Even some Shows that are popular with the Youth Viewers on Channel V  like Mastaangi and D4 also will be going off air within  less than 6 months of going on air.
